My current research deals with protest music of the eras of the Vietnam War and current Iraq War. Much has been written about the music of the 60s, but few studies have been done within a Critical Discourse Analysis framework, in particular regarding current protest music.

On this site I offer the studies I have conducted and current research notes. My previous research has been in the field of language teaching with the specific area of study of HIV/AIDS education in Japan.
